Biomedical Engineering is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the medical field. It combines the expertise of engineering with medical needs to improve healthcare.
The Biomedical Engineering program comes as a response to the needs for qualified healthcare professional emerging from the increased establishment of a number of specialized hospitals with advanced and sophisticated biomedical equipment.

Entry Requirements

In addition to the general requirements of directorate of admission, Ministry of Higher Education, applicants have to pass with high marks the following seven subjects, (Arabic and English Languages, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Computer or Engineering Science.
