Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
The department aims to establish knowledge in computer science and its applications through the study of subjects in the branches of mathematical sciences (Statistics and Mathematics), data structures, AI, computer engineering, databases, human interaction with the computer, operating systems. Programming languages, behavioral and social sciences for the study of computer science, in addition to practical training in commercial, industrial and agricultural institutions.
About the program
This section will qualify graduates to work in the fields of computer programming, design and analysis of systems in all institutions. For postgraduate studies, note that the curriculum is under the umbrella of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
Arabic, Religious Education, English, Specialized Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, i.e. Computer Science, Engineering or Biology. Religious, English language, specialized mathematics, physics, and two best subjects of chemistry or industrial origins, technical drawing, computer science or engineering sciences.
Highlights:
Basic Mathematics and Algorithms: Courses in linear algebra, calculus, and analysis and complexity algorithms.
Programming and data structures: Teaching multiple programming languages (such as C++, Python and Java), with data structures and how they are used efficiently.
Operating systems and networks: Understand the design and management of operating systems, the construction and maintenance and security of computer networks.
Databases and web applications: Creating relational databases and their queries (SQL), and developing integrated web applications using modern frameworks.
Artificial intelligence and data processing: Introductory courses in machine learning, deep learning, and big data analysis.
Applied projects and laboratories: Workshops and laboratories dedicated to the implementation of individual and group software projects, from requirements to delivery and testing.
